About

Crimsonsparkle.net was born on a dark, starless night. The next-to-the-last week of 1999. It was accidentally coined in a conversation between Jamie and her friend, Josh. The night was December 21, 1999, after midnight. The exact time wasn’t recorded. It’s powered by WordPress, something that Jamie isn’t familiar with, and Gallery 2, something Jamie is familiar with. It has bounced around from register to register, but has been under the control of the same person since its origin in 1999.

Jamie gets inspiration from all kinds of sources and all kinds of situations. Having a simple phone conversation could inspire her to title a book or name a falling star. She is heavily influenced by the constellations and the planets. On warm, starry nights, she can be seen gazing up at the stars. She feels a strong connection between those who have gone on and the constellations that dance at night. She has always wanted to be a writer and has written in a journal since 1992. She has been writing creatively since 1993. In 1994, she won the Young Author of the Year award for her short stories. Her writing is where she shines. She draws her inspiration from her life experiences, and she has a unique outlook on life.

Jamie has been online since 2000, and working with sites since 1999. She loves having an internet presence, but she doesn’t want attention. She loves expressing herself to strangers, because maybe they’ve thought of something she hasn’t. She has written over 20 sites, 9,000 blog entries, and 20,000 posts in her seven years online.

Jamie doesn’t like having her picture taken. She likes to be known and praised for her writing, not her face. She is frequently told that she is attractive, but she doesn’t believe that. She often wishes she were someone else.

Jamie drinks heavily sometimes, and sometimes takes too many prescription drugs, but over all, she is careful. She has a little one and a partner, so she is not looking to date. She suffers from depression and often has bad thoughts of things she ‘deserves’. She tends to hide that form of herself to maintain friends. Jamie loves to be alone and daydream of days gone by. She tries to look on the bright side and always tells herself to cheer up because things could be worse. She counts  her blessings every night before bed and thanks the heavens for all of the second chances she’s had in her lifetime.

Jamie isn’t affiliated with any religion, but she believes something happens when you die. She believes all living beings have souls and all souls can corrupt. She believes in ghosts and angels but does not fear either. She is not afraid of death but of the way she might die.

Jamie blossoms in the springtime and tends to be depressed more in the deadness of winter. She loves the rain and snow. She is a master at snowball fights.

Jamie feels her greatest achievement hasn’t been accomplished yet, but it will some day. Jamie has a weird sense of humor and is frustrated when people don’t see when she’s being sarcastic.

Jamie has written this in third person to avoid it sounding too narcissitic.
